Social Responsibility
While Social Corporate Responsibility doesn't roll off the tongue easily, it is at the core of our business.
We believe and endeavour to do the right thing and play our part in the community that we work in which means we approach our business in an ethical and environmentally sensitive manner.
Eco Printing
We would particularly like to point out that with our City Card media, we print our postcards on 50% post consumer recycled pulp with virgin fibre sourced from sustainable and managed forests.
The board is also chlorine free and when we litho print we use vegetable based inks and when smaller quantities are required we print digitally using inks that currently least impact environmentally. We also have a stringent recycling policy.
1% For the Planet
We recognise there are third party costs outside the costs that our suppliers charge us and as part of our attempt to compensate and offset the negative environmental consequences of our business activity we are a member of 1% for the planet alliance.
We donate 1% of our annual turnover to environmental or ecological activist groups in Ireland.
Super Screens & Energy Consumption
Our Super Screens (15 metres +)have labels which give the details of energy consumption for both the on-board generator used to power the screen and the emissions created for transportation. A straightforward calculation using these figures combined with mileage and duration of hire allows the resultant carbon footprint to be calculated.
Once your event has taken place we can provide you with the calcualtion of your carbon footprint so that you can contribute the remaining emissions value of your event. We can also do this on your behalf upon request.
