Emerging artists

Since our first months in business we have been promoting and featuring emerging artists and some better known ones through our media.

Initially we did this through a Showcase Gallery that featured one piece of work by an artist. After a number of years this morphed into what we dubbed the AIR series (artists in residence).

Start Series - Street Art

Running in tandem with our AIR series we also developed a series of City Cards of graffitti and street art - Start. If our collective memory serves us correct this series began 12 years ago, with a photo snapped late at night with a disposable camera after climbing into a deserted car park in Copenhagen. Yep more than one beer was taken. Getting back out of the car park might have been more of a challenge than getting in!

This series has now run into the hundreds with some amazing work from around the world (mostly from places we visit).
